CI has worked to scale up its response to food security strengthening representation at theWorld Food Programme (WFP) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Rome. Caritas is one ofWFP’s leading partners.WFP works with 25 national Caritas members and three international Caritas organisations.

Work is under way on the production of a Caritas policy document on food security, which will build on existing expertise, research and documents within the confederation.
