World leaders made the historic promise to end poverty by 2015 when they agreed to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The MDGs are an eight-point road map with measurable targets and clear deadlines for improving the lives of the world’s poorest people. World leaders have agreed to achieve the MDGs by 2015.
It is up to us to make sure leaders follow through on these commitments. Caritas Internationalis is urging its members and their supporters to take action in support of the MDGs.
Join our campaign and put an end to poverty.
