Caritas Libya particularly helps immigrants in Libya by providing them with these services:
- Assistance for transition, settling in and education;
- Medical services and basic education (hygiene) as well as mental health services;
- Assistance to families and vocational training for women;
- Scholarships for children and young people;
- Maternity assistance.
Caritas Libya regularly participates in workshops and training sessions organized by the delegations of Caritas Internationalis and Caritas Middle East and North Africa (MONA) to strengthen its institutional and response capacities.
Caritas Libya and the Libyan society as a whole, are faced with many political and economic challenges due to the collapse of state structures resulting in an unstable situation at the security level for the entire population.
