Caritas Antilles is made up of the Province of Castries, which includes the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia and Bermuda.

It previously included the Antilles Episcopal Conference. Following a resurgence of activities in 2003, many dioceses of the Antilles Episcopal Conference are renewing their interest and potentially may rejoin the agency.

Caritas Antilles has a special concern for the poor and marginalised, including a range of programmes such as preparing people for natural disasters, sanitation, agriculture and fisheries. Their work aims to empower and enable the poorest of the poor to escape poverty through sustainable economic development.

Caritas Antilles has youth development programmes, such as ‘Youth Education and Development for the At Risk’. It targets those between 5 to 26 years old in Grenada and St. Lucia.

Caritas Antilles headquarters are located on the beautiful island of St. Lucia, West Indies. It has only a few paid staff members so the agency relies heavily on the volunteers who donate their time, talent and treasure to reach out to those most in need.

There is a president who is the resident bishop and a regional coordinator, while each diocese has a diocesan coordinator. Parish teams are encouraged to build their volunteer base.

Caritas Antilles is a member of Caritas Internationalis and has been supported by other Caritas members, such as Caritas Spain and Catholic Relief Services, USA.
