Domestically, Caritas Switzerland works to combat poverty and is committed to social integration, supporting refugees and asylum seekers. Its activities include advocacy to raise awareness of humanitarian issues. Caritas Switzerland also runs the Fairtrade organization, which markets products from developing countries at fair prices, and the Clothing Centre, which collects clothing for emergency relief.
