Dear Friends,
It is with great joy that we share with you the initiative of Caritas Brazil on the occasion of World Youth Day 2013 (WYD 2013).
Caritas Brazil is delighted to invite and host young people connected with and working for Caritas during the WYD week from 23rd to 28th July 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Caritas Brazil will hold an international youth meeting on 14th and 15th July in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Young people from Caritas member organisations are also invited to take part in the Missionary Week leading up to WYD. After that they will be invited to travel to Rio all together in order to participate in the activities organised by Caritas Brazil and to join in the march against hunger on the first day.
We are encouraging every Caritas member organisation to identify young people who wish to participate in WYD 2013. We are sure it will be a great opportunity for them to learn from each other and to grow together.
Attached you will find the invitation containing more information on the contact person in Caritas Brazil as well as on the whole initiative. Additional information will soon be available in a folder on Baobab.
Caritas needs passionate and dedicated young people to carry out its mission!
