Please help the Philippines Typhoon survivors
Typhoon Vamco (local name Ulysses) has caused extensive damage and disruption in the Philippines.
As per the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) report, a total of 44,194 families (170,561 individuals) were affected. Casualties recorded were 12 dead, 8 injured and 14 missing. There is still massive flooding, especially in Cagayan.
NASSA/Caritas Philippines is continuing its coordination with the affected dioceses. Information about the typhoon and the current status of the dioceses are also being shared with its media contacts and all social media platforms of the national Caritas.
