Women gain entrepreneurship skills through Caritas Jordan

Nisreen is a Jordanian woman who is married to holder of a Syrian nationality. She has a 3 year old daughter. She is an optimistic person who lives a simple life with her small family.
Nisreen is an ambitious and daring person. She was one of the beneficiaries who have successfully finished two training courses in Basic English language and Food Processing (Cooking and Baking) through the EU project.
Because he had no work permit in Jordan, Nisreen’s husband has not been able to work because of his Syrian nationality.

Nisreen wanted to utilize her knowledge and desire for culinary art as she was provided with the micro – business start-up materials and equipment as she received technical entrepreneurship skills by Caritas Jordan and the European Union. Her husband supported her with flyers designing and in selling products to relatives, acquaintances and neighbors.

She has received a great welcome from customers, which has helped improve her family’s income and opened a door for products expansion.
Daily meals were requested from Nisreen by University Students who live around her house. Day after day, she became more known to families and organizations.
During the last holy month of Ramadan, she received many orders, especially from the association of orphans when they ordered 200 meals and managed to significantly improve her family’s livelihood as she earned 800 JOD that time. However, this opportunity prompted her to increase the motivation to go on.
Nisreen always invokes God not to ignore any of His children.
She is very thankful to Caritas and the European Union for their support in changing her standards of living.
