Ahead of the Global Refugee Forum 2023 (13-15 December), Caritas Internationalis – together with partners Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy (FCEI) and the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC Europe) – will hold an event in Geneva on 12 December from 9am-12pm (Rome time) titled Complementary Pathways to Europe: From humanitarian to labour and education corridors.
Humanitarian and education corridors have stood out as being a successful experience, involving both institutions and civil society, in creating opportunities for people living in difficult situations in countries of first asylum. Thanks to the support of private organisations and local communities, thousands of people have had a chance of a new life.
Complementary Pathways to Europe: From humanitarian to labour and education corridors aims to promote an inclusive dialogue on the unique contributions, experiences and journeys of people involved in this process of inclusion.
If you would like to participate in this event online on Tuesday, 12 December, from 9am-12pm (Rome time), please register here
